FOODIE CORNER

A new place to cover our favorite foods, recipes, best places to stop on the road, and any new places we discovered this week.

Well lets get right to it, we all know there’s many places that have food challenges. The first one that comes to mind Im sure everyone has heard of is the The 72 oz steak challenge, hosted by The Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, involves eating a 72-ounce (4.5 lb) steak, along with a shrimp cocktail, baked potato, salad, and a dinner roll, all within one hour. Successful completion results in the meal being free, along with a t-shirt and a place on the restaurant’s wall of fame.

This is one of many out there, we’ll try and bring you a new one each week.
