Cops stop pickup driver hauling pallets for multiple commercial vehicle violations

Canadian police recently stopped a pickup driver hauling a large load of pallets for numerous safety violations. According to a May 8 statement from Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – West Region, a traffic stop was conducted on the pickup in Alma by the OPP’s Wellington division. Charges issued during the traffic stop include:
- Overweight vehicle – violate permit … kg
- Improper means of attachment – commercial motor vehicle
- Operate vehicle – fail to display inspection sticker or proof
- Operate commercial motor vehicle – no valid CVOR certificate
- Operate vehicle – fail to display inspection sticker or proof
- Fail to surrender inspection schedule
- Fail to surrender completed daily inspection report
- Draw trailer, no identification number
- Fail to surrender permit for trailer
