Business to ‘Fill a Void’ on
Dolly Parton is teaming up with Tennessean Travel Stop to rebrand their
flagship location in Cornersville, Tenn.
Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, set to open in the early summer of
2026, will bring an “evolved travel experience” to weary travelers who
are in need of a stop that “feels like home”
The venture also sets out to bring new jobs and attention to
“underserved counties” in Tennessee
Parton is planning to open other locations across the state and later,
nationwide
Dolly Parton already has a successful theme park and multiple hotels
under her belt — and now she’s ready to expand her empire onto the
open road.
The Grammy-winning country superstar, 79, announced this week that she will
be partnering with the team behind the Tennessean Travel Stop to give their
flagship location in Cornersville, Tenn., a Dolly Parton makeover.
By the early summer of 2026, the establishment will be rebranded and
transformed into Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, according to the official
website.
But the location won’t just have Parton’s name on it. It’s set to combine the
star’s signature style with the brand’s Tennessee spirit so weary travelers and
truck drivers alike will finally have a place to stop that “feels like home.”
“I have spent the bulk of my life on the road, and more specifically on a bus,”
Parton says in a statement on the website. “All the years spent visiting greasy
spoon cafes, truck stops, and roadside pit stops have given me an
understanding of what travelers desire on the road.”
She continues, “Whether you are driving a truck, a bus, or a car, you want a
place that feels like home and recharges you for the rest of your journey. I
believe we will fill a void out there on the highways, all while bringing the heart
and soul of Tennessee.”

1- When entering the dining establishment, make note of all exits. So that if needed

you can evacuate quickly if the desert caper goes arye.

2- Pick your seat on the end of the table to acquire servers attention first.

3- Get servers’ attention and give them the low down on the ordeal that’s about to go

down.

4- Make sure the server is on the same page with you, and even grease the palm of

said server with a few greenbacks to ensure it goes off without a hitch.

5- Order said desert, this time happens to be a delicious piece of pumpkin praline

cheesecake. That was most delicious!

6- Make sure the desert hog knows you ordered it.

7- Watch as the desert hog squirms in their seat as the server brings it to the table and

places it in front of you to enjoy.

8- Enjoy the look on the desert hogs face as they know you beat them at their own

game as you put the first of many bites into your mouth!

9- Look down the table at said desert hog as you sit back and say to them boy I’m sure

full, don’t think I can finish my dinner.

10- Then smile very big when the server brings out their dessert as you head to the

parking lot to leave. AHHHH! WHAT A FEELING!
